Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is software that calculates 3D airflow, heat transfer, contamination distribution and comfort indices in and around buildings of all types and sizes.
CFD modeling is the most recent step in our growth as a design firm built inherently around next-generation, fully intelligent design platforms. It complements our multiple BIM platforms that allow us to work within our clients’ preferred environment for a truly integrated modeling effort, our construction-level detailing capabilities that enhance contractor coordination, and our 3-Dimensional/Motion-Oriented presentations for an enhanced client experience.
CFD modeling has become a necessity for our growth into Critical Facility design. It is an invaluable tool in understanding large-scale complexities inherent to Mission Critical facilities, provides improved analysis of laboratory/industrial environmental conditions, and allows truly optimized design of the key aspects of any project.
